Day 3 - Your Parents

Parents!

Papa and Mama.

There is so much to say about them. And a blog entry wouldn't be enough for the gratitude i felt for them. and love of course.

we've had hard times... and of course good times. we get into discussions, disagreements over simple and the most complex of issues. but, in the end what matters is the bind that connects us - the love of a family.

the way they brought me up might be a reason for me to "rebel". to outsiders, i seem to live a very "not-so-free" life. and that im sure most people have often commented: "wow. that's hardcore." but, i never really took it against them. we all thought they are "kill joy", yeah sometimes they can be that and it is true.. but just remember the intentions of their heart.

and now, im in my 20's.. i get to reason, cajole, meet halfway with my parents, of course with respect. and they are always willing to hear me out. they sure have some of their old ways.. which i think doesn't work nowadays. but, what the hell. i'll deal with this. although, there are issues we still need to discuss and be clear about, such as in the matters of love. LOL.

anyway, here's a song.... FROM THE PARENTS.. basically it's about a mother's love.. but it can apply to ... father's as well....

this sums up what your parents are feeling specially the moms about their children in a nutshell.

it is said.. that you never own your kids.. and that parents watch us grow so they can let us go. if we want a different name, they ask us what we want to be called. if we want to sail in a different direction, they just help us find the wind.

and sometimes.... some parents have shortcomings. but, let us all understand... their father's father. and that if at one point... if your experience with your parents are just plain madness... maybe, you can stop the madness at your end.

and just love your kids.. the way you want your parents to love you.

as you can see... we can't blame no one.

not even our parents. and despite all the hate and rage... let's all remember the LOVE. ;)

Shuffled Horoscopes

Last night I was browsing my emails and chanced upon Ana's. A friend of mine. She asked me to prepare some stuff for the debut of her sister (e.g. Invitation and Souvenir) which I accepted. Then, I browsed Friendster clicked the "Read Horoscope". (Which I don't normally do... I mean I think I checked my horoscope in friendster just 3 times all these years)

Well, not exactly the exact same words but basically the meaning is all the same. I was like "Woah! Wait a minute..". I mean I'm not exactly arranging the debut, but it's somehow more like arranging part of it.. you know it's somehow related. Haha. It's fun.

Sleigh Ride

For two consecutive meetings my Economics and Entrepreneurship class was with NO TEACHER AT ALL. I'm not complaining or anything, in fact I am grateful (not that I don't like our teacher) at least I can read the book I am reading for two hours. :P

(Btw, he left us some seatworks which could be done in 5 minutes tops.)

I'm currently reading The Loop by Nicholas Evans. It's a great book. I think I'll be finishing the book tonight, because Avy will borrow it, prolly tomorrow.

Im currently listening to some Christmas Songs, just to be in the spirit! Haha. Actually, I just like hearing Christmas Songs when Christmas is coming my way. :)

I just finished my 5-hour driving lessons. Finally =)

Oh and I would like to greet a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to dwin dwin!! I made a banner for him too! I know you had a wonderful day today!

I am suddenly craving for....

That's my favorite cake EVER! It's called Mango Charlotte, made in Bistro Rosario. (It has a durian counterpart but I like the Mango better. I like durian when it's just the fruit or a shake.) Whenever I think of birthdays, Mango Charlotte pops in my mind. And I have the picture. Waaa it makes me hungrier. *rawr* I hope Dwinny and all of you guys can try the cake. It's really good.

That's all for now. I already made you crave(*drool*) over that cake or whatever cake you like that reminded you... just as I did tonight. -_-

What a Day

Yesterday was Avydooby's birthday. I greeted her when I woke up, and she promptly asked me for a gift! Hah! That's Avy! Anyway, she did not know... that everyone was up to something for that day.

The first plan was (I might as well spoil the plans here since it's over) to surprise her at Cindrew's Cafe. A cafe of our classmate Andoy, where everyone plays Dota. So, we told Avy to at least play Dota and I even told her, Andoy might let her play for free as a gift since it is her birthday. Oh dbaaa?

During our first period, Giovanne made his own version of the Happy Birthday song for Avy. And i have to video it using my phone.. but I have to tell you the resolution is not that great. Oh and listen to how Giovanne sang the whole song! Ahh, it would surely make you laugh.




This was his first attempt with everyone trying to interrupt him during the whole song.. and he did not finish because he ended up laughing.





His third and last attempt of the Birthday song. (NOTE: Our teacher went out for awhile... while Giovanne was singing. We were doing our seatwork that time.)





The ending of his own song, and our teacher arrived and reprimanding him, while Avy saying Thank You. :) (The girl "voice" interrupting him when Giovanne ended his song, and everyone went back to business.)

Anyway, June Mae and Nessa changed the plan and thought of surprising Avy during our second period.
